Salma Mentor 5, Lena AF9, Nera AF9

Before next concert by this saturday and sunday, let's recall and watch back Salma Mentor 5, Lena AF9 and Nera AF9 performance in previous concert.

Salma Mentor 5 - Sedalam Mana Cinta Mu

Salma has a consistence performance since her first appearance in MENTOR 5 reality show. Nas Ahmad at the beginning start a controversy that Salma is not pretty but she getting more pretty each week. Another speculations on Salma's status, already have child.. there is no official explanation from her but it had been confirm.. every things will revel after this Mentor 5 finish. Based on the total marks, salma is in the top and have the highest point. This Sunday, LIVE on Tv3 is the semifinal second round concert before the FINAL concert on 29 MAY 2010. All the best Salma.. you will be the one who bring home one hundred thousand as the winner of Mentor 5.

LENA AF9 - Curiga (Ning Baizura)

She have nice tone and i really enjoy her performance especially during the early week of this AF9. For me Lena are much more suitable singing a rock and dangdut genre. Since this is the singing competitions, all the contestants need a challenge to try another genre. Hope she will go to the final concert and how it can become reality?, your vote is the answers.

NERA AF9 - Kantoi (Zee avi)

Nera performance since first concert are not reach the "safe zone" which is still below average level. The most amazing is Nera positions is still on the top 5. It maybe of her beauty that encourage the audience to vote for her. Since first concert Nera still sing a slow and cute genre but it was not good performance. I am still wondering what kind of genre she are. Kantoi is wrong choice songs for this big and prestigious reality show. Well maybe the crew and teachers can work something for Nera , and i guess she just have luck to be in this competitions.

Great performance : Salma Mentor 5

Last night is my first time watching Mentor 5 live on Tv3 because usually i am not around during this concert broadcast live. You Tube is one of the best website that provide me the recorded video for this reality show.


Last night salma once again show her talent by trying something new , medly of dangdut songs penasaran and kopi dangdut. This first performance show her talent and not in the power of her voice only but she also can dance dangdut, which one of the most sexy dance. As we already know Salma have a big range and high pitch voice.



It become more interesting with her second songs Jeritan batin ku originaly from Jacklin victor. Salma once again show her power of voice together with Azlan & The Typewriter. Ther performance really impress judgers and audience. Guess judgers give highest marks 19 out of 20. Salma still on the top of group B since the first concert. Hope Salma will give a consistence performance in every concert and i can say we already have the winner of this Mentor 5.

Nera and Lena represent Sabah in Akademi Fantasia 9.

As we all know , there are only two contestant who represent sabahan in this last season of Akademi Fantasia 9 (AF9), Nera and Lena. Based on their performance in the first concert, they have the quality and package but still have big space of improvement.

Lena performance very energetic and entertaining especially with dangdut songs and audience also dance together with her. Her voice only average and the songs didn’t really challenge her vocal. Good starting and this will become benchmark for her in future performance. One thing I did not like about her is the attitude. It might be her strategy to get attention from audience but in some situations she will over reacting without realize and this will become bad reputations. I hope someone who have direct contact to Lena will give some useful advice.



Nera performance also average only and no extra ordinary which people can easily forget her performace. I had watch Nera perform live at KE Next Top Entertainer (KENTE 3) which more excellent compare to her first concert in AF9. Blased by the good looking and pretty, it will become one of her advantage. She is one of the winner for Mis Sabah and short listed as the semifinalist for KENTE 3. Having a hard time for choose the right decision, she leave KENTE 3 and go for AF9. Nera also have just nice vocal tone and still waiting for her best performance each week.

Do not forget to vote Nera or Lena , make sure Sabahan will become the winner for this last season of Akademi Fantasia. Hehehe.. as my personal observation .. Both of them will not become the winner but who knows their luck. If you are not agree with me then vote and don’t get me wrong , I have my point before giving out my opinion… just wait and see

Biggest questions for Akademi Fantasia 9 fan had been answered today after Astro make an official press release today , 28 March 2011 at , Aeon AU2, Taman Setiawangsa. 10 weeks or 3 months will be a big battle for this AF9’s student to grab a chance to be the AF last season winner. As usual only 12 students was short listed .

KE Next Top Entertainer season 3

Many of us know that there are many reality show in Malaysia , but did you know Sabah had their own reality show? Ehehhe… but this will not be publish on TV. After being work hard last two years, now another season will come with a lot of improvement from the previous years.

Last time I just follow the update of KE Next Top Entertainer, but now I really glad that I can help them to run this competitions. By only two season, KE Next Top Entertainer already produce good quality entertainer and for your information all the winner is fresh, means they never have single or sign as recording artist before. There are Carry Yubong ,Celestina Juli , Shery ,Marlleyn and Feraddy.

This Season 3 will give much bigger prizes compare to last two seasons and the best thing is the finalist will have their own song which composed by Francis. Akademi Fantasia 9 auditions – online auditions

It had been a long time Akademi Fantasia (AF) bringing out new star in Malaysian music industry and some of local media labeled AF is the No#1 reality Tv in Malaysia. After 8 years running successful , now it come to the end and the last sessions and it going to be very special. Yesterday, January 14th, 2011 press conference at Dua Residency, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur around 3 PM and Astro Ria Channel , Puan Azlin Reza Azmi with Executive Producer , Mohd Irwan Abdul Rauf had confirm that Akademi Fantasia 9 is the last sessions.

It is a big tribute for Sabah because we are the only place that Akademi Fantasia 9 will organize auditions besides Kuala Lumpur. That means there are only two places auditions for Akademi Fantasia 9 as listed below:

1. Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur - 11, 12 & 13 February 2011
2. Promenade Hotel, Kota Kinabalu Sabah - 28, 29 & 30 January 2011

Astro also doing other changers on the auditions for this year which is provide auditions online. All you have to do is select song from the list, record and upload to you tube. For more details visit Akademi Fantasia 9 online auditions.

This year also , Akademi Fantasia 9 provide many songs choices and total is 40 sing , 20 for male and 20 for female with cover many music genre. Being a last sessions , Akademi Fantasia 9 will bring all the memory back on stage since sessions 1 until 8.

Astro also said that Akademi Fantasia 9 will be host by famous Malaysian host. My guess, it will bring back Aznil Hj Nawawi to Akademi Fantasia. This session also will be bit different because the principle of Akademi Fantasia 9 will be import from other country either Singapore or Indonesia. Well it still a big questions for us to predict it for now but there will be a press conference soon revel everything.

MALAYSIAN WANT'S-M1 Sabahan Contestants

There are brand new reality TV show will broadcast soon on Astro Ria and HitzFM. MALAYSIAN WANT'S-M1 already complete their auditions nationwide which started from Kuantan (4-5 December 2010), Ipoh (8-9 December 2010) , Penang (11- 12 December 2010), Kuala Terengganu (14 -15 December 2010), Kuala Lumpur (17 -18 December 2010), Melaka (22-23 December 2010), Johor Bahru (28 -29 December 2010), Kuching (4-5 January 2011) and Kota Kinabalu (7-8 January 2011). M1 is a new Reality TV Programme where six Malaysian will be chosen by fellow Malaysians to form a band.

M1 will dividen into three stages which is Stage 1:Auditions, Stage 2: The Workshop and Stage 3: Go Live. There are 6 category offered by M1, Vocalist, Keyboardist, Lead Guitarist, Drummer, Bassist and Percussionist. Only 10 will select for each category (total of 60 contestants) will be joining the second stage “The Workshop” for 10 days. At the end of stage 2, only half (30 contestants) will go to stage 3.

Stage 3 will broadcast live in TV (Astro Ria) and schedule started broadcasting live on Febuary 26, 2011 (Saturday) and followed by result on the following day, Sunday. Each week 1 band will eliminated based on the judgers marks (60) + Sms voting from audience (40). Only two band will perform in the final on Mac 19,2011.

The judgers are very professional , Helen Yap, Fauzi Marzuki and Cat Farish. All of them are well known and have good achievement in their carrier.

That is the details on this M1 TV reality show and now its time for me to introduce our sabahan contestants who made into Stage 2. There are :

New Malaysia reality TV show: Keynote

Keynote is the brand new reality tv show in malaysia hosted on Astro Ria (channel 104). I never realize this reality show because this is a world cup session. This word “Keynote” remind me motivational keynote speaker , John Di Frances – Ideas that Challenge which always give us a new motivation to improve in our life. Take an advantage from the challenge we facing to develop new skills.

This Keynote reality show will develop new talent who has the expertise on composing songs and not a motivational keynote speaker. Keynote might not really popular as another reality shows in Malaysia but for me this is one of the best platforms to boast our music industry. Composers are the back bone for songs because they are who create the melody.



Keynote hosted by Farish Azizi and the principle is well known Malaysian Composer Ajar. Format for this show is same with Akademi Fantasia 12 contestant. Audience will vote and each week one contestant will eliminated. Below are contestants list of this Keynote reality show…

If you guys cannot go to the final… its ok.. you have done a great job and Malaysian already recognize you… be a great composer…. or other choice is being motivational keynote speaker :)

As usual, I have no chance to watch the live concert of Akademi Fantasia because I have important task need to done. Thanks for Akademi Fantasia 8 follower uploading in YouTube.

I was hoping the concert will batter than the previous two concerts, but I just a hope no improvement at all. Some said song choices not suitable for student and others said not challenging. Here are my comments, anyone can sing a song no matter what, but the most important is how the student make the song entertaining and interesting performance. We can compare Akademi Fantasia 8 students with the previous sessions who have creativity and effort in their songs. Good examples are Stacy, Akim, Aizat, Felix and Zahid.

Debaran Akademi Fantasia 8 poor and not interesting.

I will give my comment first before the compliment.
I have a chance to watch debaran Akademi Fantasia hosted by Sarimah Ibrahim on channel 104, 9 pm – 9.30 pm (28/3/2010). As week one, debaran Akademi Fantasia still not interesting especially the student performance theme songs Menuju Puncak and the sad song Alleycats - Andainya Aku Pergi Dulu. Sarimah as host also did not deliver the surprise and it really not attractive. I hope astro will change their contestant elimination at the end of the concert. People watch concert because wanna know who will going home just after the concert, it more surprise. If we are talking about the voting percentage, I guess Akademi Fanrasia 8 is the worst !! Week 2, Iwan is the top just 12 %.

Now here is my compliment, I got a widget at this blog display real time Akademi Fantasia 8 voting result. I try to compare who was the bottom 3 announced by Sarimah and the widget. Result is, bottom 3 from the widget and announced bottom 3 are same. Ema was the lowest with only 7% . If the result not same as the widget I believe most of malaysian were starting boycott Akademi Fantasia 8.

Picture below shows what I was talking just now. Just after a minute Ema eliminated announce , the result was reset to ziro. Astro please do some thing .. make this Akademi Fantasia interesting.

If you miss to watch the live concert last saturday, here is you chance to watch the full concert. This session is different from previous session because AF8 copy the American Idol concept. It might give more time for you to vote and at the same time earn more profit :) Concert is on saturday and result or elimination on sunday started on 9.00 PM. Shah(Part 10) was eliminated in first concert.

I am still thinking how if Sarimah and Jimmy hosted the concert alone, wanna see who is the best among them. After prelude and first concert, sarimah and jimmy stage performance not interesting.

Raja Lawak 4 Champ – Kecik

Big surprise for Kecik after announced as Raja Lawak 4 Camp because jury expected Alex might be the winner. Jury only gives compliment but audience is the main judgers in this reality show by sms voting. Kecik have done their grate performance and get higher voting 49.5 % above Idlan (1st runner up) and Alex (2nd runner up). Kecik is sabahan Mohd Ilham Rusdy or Achoe, 19 dan Safuan Madeaming or Wan, 20 .

It was a lucky day for Kecik bring home a great prizes, RM 14,000.00 cash, Naza Sorento, karaoke set Arezzo Hoffman, electric stuff Haier brand, watch Hugo Boss brand and trophy.

Raja Lawak Week 9 , Alex,Kecik,Idlan, Mamu

Last week (Raja Lawak week 8) Mamu at the bottom but there no eliminations, so that means this week 9 , still have four group perform on the stage. Theme for this week 9 is “My Old Days (Hari Tuaku)”. Same as last week each contestants will perform twice one is their buffoonery and given an object as their tools to entertain audience with a big laugh. Mamu was eliminated from this reality TV show, finale are Alex,Kecik and Idlan.

Before watch the video, ALEX had spent his time to watch Sabah Stronger Man on Saturday morning (27/2/2010).

Raja Lawak 4: Kecik , Alex and Idlan .. who will be the winner?

Now it is a big questions, who will be the winner of Raja Lawak Session 4 , Kecik, Alex or Idlan? You may select your favorite but it not enough because you are not the only one have the authority to select the winner. Everybody can be judges and select their winner, the only way is voting, voting, voting to make sure your favorite become winner.

Last Sunday performance, Kecik is the best among others three, Alex, Idlan and Mamu. Alex and Idlan performance not really entertaining and lake of creative an idea. Mamu also have done well but there is no luck for them voted .Theme for this week is copy artist/film act.

Chinese New Year fever already gone and now another fever phenomenon will attack Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore. It had been up to eight sessions and there is more and more surprise from this show. Akademi Fanatasia is the hottest reality TV show in Malaysia and what make it different from the other is audience has 100% authority to select their winner by sms voting.

Akademi Fantasia have done their auditions tour around Malaysia. As I been informed, this year Akademi Fantasia is more exciting than the previous sessions. Raja lawak become hot each week with different challenge and for this week 6, their task is about funny ghost. It sound simple but not, if you had watched the show on last sunday you probably agree what the judges comment. Almost all of them didn't do well... watch video below .

"KE Next Top Entertainer (KENTE)", adalah merupakan salah satu daripada acara anjuran KaDuS Entertainment, dan merupakan acara yang paling berprestij untuk KE. Kejayaan musim pertama KENTE telah mendorong KE untuk meneruskan musim kedua, disamping permintaan daripada peminat dan juga bekas peserta KENTE. Pertandingan ini secara tidak lansung telah berjaya menaikkan nama ramai bakat-bakat baru yang sebelum ini kurang dikenali. Selain tiga pemenang tempat teratas, KE & KENTE berbangga dengan kejayaan yang dikecapi oleh Senisah Majilin (MyStarz Lg3), Georgia Joy C. Binsol (Johan Sugandoi Kaamatan 2009), Marlemny Fay (Johan I Got Talent) dan ramai lagi yang telah menerbitkan album solo, mahupun single.

As a KE FOUNDER, i never looked back when i first started this in 2005. I always believe that this could KE could contribute in many ways to promote the entertainment industries in Sabah. At first, people would laugh at me when i say, KE want to do this or that, but now, the same people who laughing is asking what is KE next big project. There will be more to come for KE and for the local industry in Sabah.

As for KENTE, this time around, it will be headed by my co-founder Mr. George Duat or famously known as gogds. This time around also, i will be acting as an advisor/patron to this event. The benchmark is there to reach and I strongly believe that gogds has what it takes to take KENTE to the next level.
For the contestant, this is your chance to prove to all what you have, the talent. Don't compare KENTE to other event such as AF or MYSTARZ LG. KENTE has its own class and unique feature.
