Album Launching : Hary Nianti – Kada Pologoso

Hary Nianti will launch his first ever album on this coming Saturday July 30 at Damai Club Jalan Bundusan , Penampang Sabah. This event will start 7 pm until 10 pm. You are invited to attend this album launching. There are many interesting activity on that day and enjoy the promotion price for the DVD ,Audio CD and Drinks.

Hary Nianti from Sandakan and now work with Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara in Kuala Lumpur. Hary was one of the Kadus Entertaiment Next Top Entertainer successors and proof to us that sabahan have unstoppable awesome talent especially in entertainment. One of Jason JB comment in his facebook page really great that Hary Nianti Music Video already went over outside Malaysia such as Indonesia , Philippines and Japan . They are interested and ask for the subtitle. Going back into production line maybe impossible but I hope someone will translate the songs and publish it on the internet so others can understand the songs while enjoy the beauty of the melody.

What I can say about this album is, if you are looking for easy listening or slow music , I highly recommend this album. Most of the songs in this album have same music arrangement and soft music. This kind of music is suitable for you who want to rest and enjoy your time in silent mode. This album present conventional music that expose the sabahan music style, sumazau, joget and slow music. Most of the music style still have the sumazau bit which are really significant to sabahan music.

As we all know , Sabah is rich with cultures and have many beautiful places and that is maybe the main point why Sabah selected. Thanks to Preston Zaidan Productions Sdn Bhd for put Sabah in other stage as one of the best location for film/movie shooting.

Esther Applunius is the first runner up of One in A Million season 3 and already launch her new album Selalau on 30 April 2010. This is her second album Selalau is unique because four language in one album, Malay ,English Chinese and Kadazandusun.
Esther Applunius had put her 100% effort on her second album while most of the songs in her new album,Selalau was composed by herself.

W.O.R.M is stand for World Of Rock Music was formed in late 1999 by Key (Vocalist) with Brain (Bassist). W.O.R.M now have Jay and Adie (Guitarist) and Melvin (Drummer) beside Key (Vocalist) with Brain (Bassist). Successful in music industry need some unique value to attract the fan. Being the first in Malaysia play primarily Visual Kei is the major differences with other band in Malaysia. Visual Kei is a type of Japanese rock blend little bit of local tribal and electro into their music concoction.

Saturday November 8, 2009 was the biggest day for W.O.R.M , launching their debut album called “Destiny in a decade”. This album has nine track songs with fresh music arrangement and creative idea was the biggest attraction in their new album.Experience is one of the major key for successful, and yet W.O.R.M took ten years to come out with this album. First single was recorded on 2002 and public really love their music, it stayed in the local Top 10 Chart for two weeks. Amazingly the single also went into T0p 10 in the UK Indie Rock Chat.

Felix Agus , one of our sabahan who did well in Akademi Fantasia, not sabahan but Malaysian also partially him. After finish his contract with “Meastro Talent” on september 2008, many of the fans asking what is his latest update. Now the answer is here, Felix Agus come out with his second album “Aku Juga Iya” and already available in market now. The launching of this album was done on 02 Mei 2009 during KDCA Kelang Velly Kaamatan Festival.

Elvis Saladan - New Album

Elvis Saladan is one of the new name in our local music industry. “New name” doesn’t mean his music or song did not have a good quality. Before produce Elvis’s first album, he already have singing experience.

Elvis had done recording with Greenland Entertainment, one of the best studio in town (KK). You can listen his demo song from his official blog or from his YouTube page. I just listen demo songs, and I was really impresses with the music arrangement and his vocal also, “good tone”, got commercial value. I believe if he keeps his good effort to produce an album in the future, he will become one of the greats singers.

When listening to his demo song, it makes me remember my village and my old friends during childhood. This album still keeps the sabahan music identity- “sumazau” plus dangdut and slow rock.

As we all know, Stacy will launch her first album on 8th March 2009. I believe Stacy fans very excited and cannot wait that moment. The best news is, Stacy will launch her first album in Sabah and this is a history because for the first time Maestro organizes album launching in Sabah. There are few new song in Stacy first album such as Aku Stacy, Gagap, Cinta Yang KuDuga, Rasa- Rasa, Cerah and Pakai Buang. Watch promotion video below.



For your information, there are “sabahan slang” such as kenapa bah! kau berubah! in Pakai Buang song. I believe KRU done this to attract sabahan listeners. We, sabahan should proud that our “sabahan slang” started accepted by other races. :D

Around august 08, I had made a review about Episod , with their single Where Is The Love (Dimanakah Sinar Cinta). In my previous post, I had stated Episod will release their album, 10 songs actually it only 7 in it with Free Pop concept.

As mention earlier in my previous blog post, Episod have three members Larry Q, 32, Suri, 38 and Shawnskiz, 41. Larry and Suri are Sabahan meanwhile Shawnskiz from New Jersey, USA. On 10th December 08, Episod had launched their album at Pusakag Café. Many sabahan come to Episod lunching album ceremony and there are Felix Agus, Jass, Khai, Shawn, Usal John Gavis, Melvin Kalvin, Adolf, Jaidy Bading, Joseph Majakui, Navison LL, Ricardo, DJ Marklinus.

Episod compose their song and most of their music arrangement done by themselves. All recording had made in Pusakag Studio. There are seven songs in this album as listed below.

RapSouL is about the music, the soul, the dream, the brotherhood and the friendship That we shared together. RapSouL had release their new single called "Show Us (Some Love)". First time heard this song, I didn’t believe our local artist produce this very high quality music arrangement. I just open RapSouL blog and browse another page, when the music start played, I was surprised the music arrangement sound very professional. Honestly I had played this song over and over again. If you Hip Hop fans, you should listen this songs.

This songs was compose around 2006 but only release on 2008 after get golden touch 'pre-mastering' from Mr.Sitaring . Visit RapSouL blog to listen their demo songs. I bet you, you will fall in love with their music. Wish a best of luck to RapSouL and work hard to produce your album. If you guys give a good product (music) I believe audience will buy your album. Now days , free music (download or burn cd) is normal, but remember you need a good business plan to sell out your product. Think bigger and you will get biggest, do not limit your target market only Sabah or Malaysia but try to promote you song internationally. Use internet, less cost but big impact. Who know big recording company interested in your music for an example Pop Shuvit and Atama.
