AF6's Final Concert Next Week

Last week is the final elimination and it goes to the final concert next week.
I had seen the improvement in their show last week, everyone had give their best performance especially Toy. To be hones I never expect him will go to the final, but who know the lucky, he is the first announced to be in the final. As the result close, Toy was in the first place with 19% followed by Stacy also 19 %. Satnly was going home last week. Here is the list of student who will be in the final concert next week. Do not forget to vote your favorite candidate. :)

Calon awal AF6 diumum

Nenek 44 tahun peserta tertua, kakak Siti Nurhaliza turut tersenarai

KUALA LUMPUR: Percubaan seorang nenek kepada dua cucu, Hairina Abd Halim, 44 menyertai sesi uji bakat Akademi Fantasia 6 (AF6) membuahkan hasil apabila beliau dipilih menjadi antara 25 calon awal program realiti berkenaan.

Turut mengiringi Hairina atau Rina sebagai calon pelajar AF6 adalah kakak kepada penghibur terkenal, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Siti Nursaida Tarudin atau Saida, 32.

Perkara itu diumumkan pengacara AF6, iaitu AC Mizal dan Sarimah Ibrahim pada majlis khas yang diadakan di sini, semalam.



Pada sidang media kemudian, Pengarah Eksekutif Astro Entertainment Sdn Bhd, Zainir Aminullah, berkata pemilihan Hairina sebagai calon pelajar adalah berdasarkan bakat yang dimilikinya, di samping faktor publisiti yang diberikan secara meluas ketika bekas penyanyi kelab itu menjalani sesi uji bakat AF6 Januari lalu.

"Saya tidak menafikan, selain faktor bakat, Hairina mempunyai daya tarikan sendiri sehingga media pernah memberi publisiti yang meluas terhadapnya, iaitu menjadi tajuk muka depan akhbar ketika dia datang uji bakat tidak lama dulu.

"Apabila dia dipilih, kami hanya mahu mengembalikan semula ingatan penggemar AF terhadap keadaan itu," kata Zainir mengulas pemilihan Hairina sebagai pelajar AF musim ini.

Jelas Zainir lagi, AF6 mencatat sejarah tersendiri apabila menerima enam ribu penyertaan sejak memulakan pencarian bakatnya di lima lokasi, Januari lalu.

"Ini adalah rekod penyertaan paling tinggi berbanding musim lalu. Daripada 6 ribu yang hadir untuk sesi uji bakat, hanya 24 calon saja yang berjaya disenarai pendek, manakala seorang lagi calon dipilih menerusi sesi uji bakat 'wildcard', dengan kerjasama rakan radio rasmi, Era," katanya.

Ditanya bagaimana proses pemilihan pelajar ke senarai akhir dijalankan, Zainir berkata, ia akan ditentukan menerusi satu penilaian khas yang akan dijalankan tenaga pengajar sendiri.

"Semua calon pelajar ini akan menjalani pelbagai sesi orientasi serta kelas yang akan dikendalikan tenaga pengajar selama tiga hari. Mereka kemudian akan dinilai sama ada layak atau tidak untuk ke peringkat seterusnya.

"Keputusan senarai akhir pelajar akan diumumkan menerusi program Tirai Akademi Fantasia Episod 3 yang akan disiarkan pada Ahad ini, 16 Mac jam 8.30 malam," katanya.

Pada majlis itu, Astro turut mengumumkan dua pengkritik tetap program berkenaan. Mereka adalah pelakon dan pengacara, Fauziah Datuk Ahmad Daud atau Ogy serta penyanyi bersuara soprano, Ning Baizura.

Program yang dipancarkan di saluran Astro Ria itu turut menyaksikan Ramli MS sebagai pengetua, Anita Sarawak (Penasihat Penghibur), Siti Hajar Ismail (Guru Vokal Teknikal), Syafizawati Syarif (Guru Vokal Persembahan), Genervie Kam (Guru vokal/Muzik) Linda Jasmine (Guru Koreografi), Fauziah Nawi (Guru Seni persembahan), Fatimah Abu Bakar (Perunding Motivasi/Guru Bahasa Inggeris) dan Jasmi Rejab (Perunding Fesyen).

Program ini akan memulakan siarannya Sabtu ini menerusi rancangan Tirai Akademi, manakala konsert pertamanya akan dipancarkan secara langsung dari Dewan Sivik Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya, bermula 22 Mac depan, jam 9 malam.

NEW HOST FOR AF6

Ac Mizal is the new host for Akedemi Fantasia 6 (AF6). It had been officially announce last night in Fail Sulit AF. Now the host for the new session we know, but the question is how he can make this reality show good as before. Former AF host, Aznil had successfully put this show in a good standard. People or audiences want better than before and it must be different.

Ac had been targeted to be a host for AF6, but he need to be prepared and make something new and different. As we know he has his own standard and identity. That make him the best person chooses by Asto to host AF6. Mine while Sarimah is the second host for AF6 and she will handle the dairy AF.

“We choose them because they have their own identity and will bring AF6 into a new dimension and it appropriate with our concept”, says Zainir Aminullah, Executive Director Astro Entertainment Sdn Bhd.

Loloq was pass away

I was really socked after heard Rosli Khamis or more known as loloq was pass away at 1.40 after four days unconscious in Hospital Pakar Damansara. He is one of the most active person to compose songs. I started to know his name in AF reality show. From that time i also watch the movie that he get involve such as Zombie Kampung Pisang. I also heard that loloq get involve to write a script for Aduh! Saliha. I juz know a few of his songs Awan Yang Terpilu (Ning Baizura) and Persis Mutiara (Mila). I really look forward in this coming AF6 he will sit in front and give some advice to the AF students. We had lost one of the great man in our music industry. Rest In Peace.

support Faizal Tahir.

I believe all of us had know that Faizal Tahir had been ban from performing. He has been banned by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) from appearing in entertainment programmes. Subsequently, 8TV announced that it would freeze royalties from his album sales and concerts. He was dropped from the Anugerah Juara Lagu. What do you think, should he get banned because of that small gimmick.

Our moral guardians are so caught up in stamping out their take on immorality that they don’t spend enough time trying to root out the immorality that all right-thinking persons can agree to.
IF YOU’RE like me, the first thing you thought when you heard that some singer had done a striptease live on TV, was probably “What on earth was he thinking?”
A striptease on TV? Even the United States, which some people would have us believe is the epitome of loose morals, would not have tolerated such a “wardrobe malfunction.” Throw the book at the idiot!
And they did. The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has banned the TV station, 8TV, from broadcasting live and delayed telecast concerts for three months effective Jan 15.
The rock star himself, 29-year-old Faizal Tahir, has been banned from participating in live or delayed concerts by other TV stations for three months.
8TV, which essentially discovered him a couple of years ago through its reality talent show One in a Million, has also committed him to community service for six months.
And if that's not all, the station has frozen all royalty accruing to him from album sales and concerts.
But slowly, the facts started coming in. At a live performance to celebrate 8TV's fourth anniversary on Jan 13, the Terengganu-born Faizal took off his shirt, singlet and belt to reveal an “S” logo painted on his chest.
This is hardly on the same scale as Janet Jackson's aforementioned “wardrobe malfunction” that led to her baring a nipple during her 2004 Superbowl performance with Justin Timberlake.
Faizal took off his top. He teased a bit. A rock star bared his torso during his performance. Is it just me, or does all that hullabaloo over a shirtless man seem to you a tad ... heavy-handed?
We've had a long history of such overreactions in the local entertainment scene. How many of us reacted with incredulity to see a minister gleefully chopping off the long locks of Search frontman Amy all those years ago? Or when the Information Ministry ruled against Malay songs interspersed with English lyrics, which would have seen P. Ramlee's classic Madu Tiga being taken off the air?
Our Entertainment Desk pointed out that those KRU guys got the best revenge against such overblown and outdated sentiment. Seven out of the 10 tracks on their 1992 hip-hop debut Canggih were banned by RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia) because they “abused” the Malay language by mixing Malay, English and street lingo. That album went platinum.
Sometimes, it appears as if there are two distinct and disparate worlds coexisting in Malaysian society.
There's the one that believes rape victims bring it on themselves for baring their hair or for just being female; that the only way to ensure a moral, compassionate society is through rigid control and unstinting intolerance; and whose inhabitants, apparently, have never watched an MTV video with bare, writhing bodies.
There's the other world, populated by people who generally shrug at these things and move on with life. With all the real issues facing us as a nation, the rising crime rate among them, why are we worrying about small things like a shirtless male singer?
It's not so much a case of double standards, although there is a bit of that too, but trying to impose standards that are at odds with what's going on out there in the real world.
The first group, the moral guardians, say that's the problem right there. If we start letting some things go, it's tacitly approving immoral behaviour that would ultimately lead to degeneration on a national scale.
I believe there are moral absolutes, such as murder and rape being wrong no matter what. In many areas though, morality is subjective and personal.
It seems to me that our guardians are so caught up in stamping out their take on immorality that they don't spend enough time trying to root out the immorality that all right-thinking persons can agree to.
The increasingly rigid and intolerant rules and regulations we've been implementing over the last couple of decades have done nothing to stem the tide either.
Perhaps we should stop focusing on grandiose schemes and the “big picture” of morality, and just get down to the nitty-gritty task of fighting real crime.
As for poor Faizal, who has apologised (and I believe he had nothing to apologise for), he has two songs in the running at the 22nd Anugerah Juara Lagu awards this weekend. He was also supposed to perform at the awards ceremony, but the authorities are wondering if they should allow him to do so.
Hey guys, don't get your knickers in a twist. Just let him sing-lah! Faizal to carry on singing

8TV will host Faizal Tahir Punishment

I had closely follow this news, in this morning i had read from Utusan Malaysia saying that 8 Tv will host Faizal's punishment doing a charity work. Malaysian was shock that Faizal take off his clots during his live performance and broadcast live on 8TV. I think 8Tv will get more viewers because want to see what actually Faizal do during the punishment period. He will join all the charity work organize by media prima.
