Remember the date, 28th July, Saturday (1pm-12pm). That day is the Kuala Lumpur Independent Bands Festival 07. There are many group will taking up the stage such as He Libra, Deepset, Teenage Glory for the Wasted, Coma, The otherside orchestra. Cassius Voltaire, Novelea, Telephony Delivery, Radioflyer, The Rhaman, Laila's Lounge, Analoq Six, Quit Antartika, Free Love and Polyester Embassy (Bandung) will be playing so come on down!!.

KAMI on 8TV

What's KAMI you say? Well it's a multi-platform project - covering all realms of media from film, TV, music and events (eg. gigs)

The new 8TV show will revolve around a bunch of youths within the indie scene. Of course, it's none other than Gol and Gincu's Lina Tan who's teaming up with writer and director, Fizzi and Fendi for an insightful look into the indie music scene.

The plan is to release KAMI- The Movie as well as KAMI- The Series, an 8 part TV mini series on 8TV. It goes without saying that this project will incorporate music from the best groundbreaking Malaysian bands today. Adding to that, the KAMI project will start off with 3 gigs in 3 cities. Some of the names attached to the gigs are Estranged, Love Me Butch, One Buck Short, Pop Shuvit and Meet Uncle Hussein among others.



Incidentally, Meet Uncle Hussein is responsible for the KAMI theme song titled "Lagu Untukmu" as well as "La La La Kerjalah", which are both featured on KAMI - The Album.

A late night detour leads to an unimaginable nightmare when an estranged couple's car breaks down on a remote country road. David Fox (Luke Wilson) and his soon-to-be ex-wife Amy (Kate Beckinsale) are forced to spend the night at a seedy motel run by an odd but seemingly harmless proprietor (Frank Whaley). In their room, the bickering couple find a cache of homemade slasher films that look disturbingly real. When they learn that the blood-soaked videos were shot in the very room they're staying in, David and Amy realise that they will be the filmmakers' next victims - unless they put aside their differences and work together to escape.

It because Dato’ S and Dato’ K is one of the hot couple in Malysia. Dato’ S in the number one singer in Malaysia Dato’ K is one of the successful businessmen. Both of them had given the response to this fake news. The news is NOT TRUE. They said their husband and wife relationship is very good and did not have any problem. On 14 July Dato’ K and Dato’ S had left to Bali for business trip. They also have confirmed the news is just a fake in telephone conversation live on Tv 3 (Melodi).

MyStarz LG is getting more interesting. Last Sunday the 3rd concert had run smoothly and all the contestant had give their very best. This reality show also promises a big reward for the winner RM 100 000 cash and get a contract to record an album. Just imagine if you are one of them, would you waive the opportunity? I believe you will do the best to win and get the prizes. Afif was voted out in the MyStarz LG 3rd concert even he had perform good with Kris Dayanti songs but we must follow the rules, who got the lowest vote have to leave.

Finalist of Ikon Malaysia had announce and for solo category are Dayang Nurfaizah and Jaclyn Victor. Flop Poppy and OAG is the representative for group category. There are two more space to complete but this is depend to sms vote. The candidate of this sms vote are: solo Mawi, Adam, Daniel, Dina, Ezlyn, Farah AF, Reshmonu, and Shanon group Amuk, Def GabC, Disagree, Gerhana Ska Cinta, Jinbara, May and Mirwarna. The highest vote will announce on 17 July.
