Budak Lapuk from Matahari Animation & Production Sdn Bhd one of the new animation film will screen soon on Hari Raya. This film also had been short listed in the Film Festival Malaysia 2007 (FFM07). The story of this film is about 3 friends known as Budak Lapuk adapted from the Pendekar Bujang Lapuk. As a Malaysian I was proud because this kind of film is new in Malaysia. If we compare with the other country, we are too far left behind from them in this industry. It is a good try and hopefully next time it will improve a lot. To be hones I also not had put attention on Malaysian animation. The other Malaysian animation film I know is Anak-Anak Sidek and it broadcast on TV9.
