Jac met him when she was still singing at a club in KL Plaza and The Ship, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Talking about Mr. Boots, Jac said “He is a very sweet guy”. Jaclyn wishes for a simple but nice weddings.

KAMI Project

Kami is based on indie musicians Fizzi and Fendi's experience and insights after years of involvement in the Malaysian independent music scene.
They, together with Redfilms' Lina Tan, came up with Kami - The Movie, a theatrical film scheduled for release next year. It's about five friends whose lives are linked by their love of music. Preceding the film, Kami - The Series, an eight-part TV mini-series will air on 8TV.

Search finds Hollywood

AMY and his rock band Search will be Planet Hollywood’s guest stars on Sept 9. The band’s special Merdeka showcase is themed Malam Edan With Search.This showcase will be a chance for fans to experience the spellbinding sounds of Search, arguably the country’s most enduring and iconic rock band. Search’s 25 years in music has earned it endorsements from established artistes, both locally and in Indonesia. It has just released its 10th album titled Gotik Malam Edan. It will perform hits from that album which include Yin Dan Yang, Memoria Anna, Neo-Romantik and Lara Tari Pencinta. Besides Amy, the band comprises Hillary Ang on guitar, Nasir on bass and Yazid on drums.

The entry fee for the 10.30pm showcase is RM50, inclusive of one drink.

What is KADUS? KADUS is a combination two race in Sabah, KADAZAN and DUSUN. Kadus Entertainment is one of the online communities for the sabahan to discuss about sabahn music especially kadus music. Kadus music now is entering the new era, and their music start accepted by other races around the world. Some of their artist had made a concert in other country. Their music and recording achieve the standard and have good quality. Some kadus demo songs are available in KE website, enjoy the songs :) but you need to register as a member first.

Festival Filem Malaysia (FFM20) Winner

Festival Filem Malaysia ke 20 (FFM20) was celebrated last night and the entire question had been answered. Before this, I heard rumors that Waris Jari Hantu has a big chance to win as a Best Film but it not happened. The Best Film 2007 is CINTA directed by Kabir Bhatia and going home with RM50,000. This film is unique because there are 3 type of love in this film. The actors also well known such as Dato’ Rahim Razali, Fatimah Abu Bakar, Rashidi Ishak, Rita Rudaini, Pierre Andre, Sharifah Amani, Que Haidar and Nanu Baharuddin, this is maybe one of the key that make it Best Film. Congratulations to all the winner and keep improving to be the. Our film industry still far behind compare to the neighbors country. Here is the result for FFM20.

The world knows Gwen Stefani will be in Malaysia this month (21st August) but a few Malaysian made some complain to spoil the fun. Who made this? National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students organization said they didn’t wan she perform in KL because Gwen Stefani too sexy. For them it can decay the society's moral. If they wanna ban Gwen Stefani why they let the other artist performs in our country such as Akon, MLTR and MCR. Hem.. I guess there is something wrong .. come on Malaysia… we need to make changers.. If we still like this, how to cooperate with other country and compete on a world level when our actions are so backward?? Think about it.. :D read more on www.junkonline.net. Mukhsin Win Silver Award, Jogjakarta - Indonesia

Maybe this film cannot win in the FFM20, but it show us that this film is better than the others because it had won the Silver Award in Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival. Congratulations :)  This film shows us the first love of malay boy (Mukhsin). The story of ths film are really attractive and i believe after watching this film, you will remember your first love. Everybody had their first love right? So do not miss to watch it..
Who did know Yasmin Ahmad the successful film director. Her film had won many awards outside Malaysia. But in Malaysia the she’s film always neglect… whatever, I believe she’s film is really great and that why she had won many awards outside Malaysia. Keep it up… Yasmin Ahmad. :)

FFM (Festival Filem Malaysia - 20)

Malaysian Film Festival on the line now, who will win? This is the big question among Malaysian now? FFM20 will be held in Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang on tomorrow night, 9 pm (Astro RIA). There are 13 films had been short listed for FFM20.
Most of the Malaysian film lover said that “Waris Jari Hantu ” have a big chance to win for “Filem terbaik (Best Film)”. But it doesn’t mean the other films have no chance to be a best film.
