Usually during driving home I must tune in to frequency 91.1 Htz or more known as KK FM, sabahan local radio station and managed by Universiti Malaysia Perlis. The best show in town is ampai- ampai krew with DJ Ramli Carlo and DJ Felix Agus. I enjoy listening their show because there are fun and sometimes crazy but really entertaining and reduce stress level on traffic jam.

I had listened for the first time listen to Alvin MY latest single Buat Sikit-sikit. To be honest , I really don’t get what genre of this song but I can put this song as humor and easy listening same group as Main Tapuk-tapuk by Elmar and Macam Di KK by Janrywine. It seem a new trend for Sabahan to compose songs using sabahan slang with a catchy music.

Hi guys, if you are fan of sabahan telemovie , for sure you will know who is Bili Bili Do. This group had few telemovie and produced by Bambo Sound Studio (BSS). Ben-vs-Ateng : Ginawo Ku Lumungui (translation lyric-malay )

Album Ben vs Ateng album was release around December 2007 and some of their songs become hits. According to their producer Nars,Album Ben vs Ateng was sold more than 3000 units.

One of the songs in this album is Ginawo Ku Lumungui, Ben featuring Ateng. Melody of this song was really nice with smooth keyboard intro in the beginning of the songs. Music arrangement also really nice, music intro with keyboard, it capture my attention to listen what next. Ben and Ateng have an unique vocal which give soul to this song.

I had few friends hundred percent didn't understand Dusun language, but they fall in love with this songs. Amazingly one of my fiend was crying after heard this song although she didn't understand the lyric. I had asked her, "why are you crying and i'm really sure you didn't understand the lyric?". The answer, she can feel this song telling the listener about something really hard to forget and bring the past memory which it really touching.

As requested, i had try my best to translate this songs "Ginawo Ku Lumungui" in malay. I already try synchronize the translation lyric to suit the melody but few sentences still out of it especially in second verse (i think for first verse, bridge and chorus its ok... just ok tau :P ) . If you guys can come out with batter translation, please let me know so i can update my translation.

watch video below,it really nice.. but after look this video few times i realize the lyric and mouth movement is not synchronize. Anyway i still give credit to the person who create this video, keep the good work and i believe you can do batter more than this in the future.

Felix Agus , one of our sabahan who did well in Akademi Fantasia, not sabahan but Malaysian also partially him. After finish his contract with “Meastro Talent” on september 2008, many of the fans asking what is his latest update. Now the answer is here, Felix Agus come out with his second album “Aku Juga Iya” and already available in market now. The launching of this album was done on 02 Mei 2009 during KDCA Kelang Velly Kaamatan Festival.

There are eight songs in this album and bonus VCD exclusively for “Aku Juga Iya” and pictures behind the sense during producing the VCD.

New single from Infinatez - Hinonggo

Infinatez open their new page in music industry by producing a new song Hinonggo. “Hinonggo” means “where” or in malay “dimana”. This song, Hinonggo was composed by Alvin aka Defoo Reuben Raymond aka Fingerstylo. Sabahan don’t worry because Infinatez dusun songs was composed by dusun boy (Alvin aka Defoo)Reuben Raymond aka Fingerstylo from RanauTambunan. So there is no issue of wrong words usage. We should proud that our local language is start accepted by others community or race. I believe if the song have a good melody and music arrangement, no matter what language is it, people still listen to that song. I will take my self as an example, I also listen Chinese, tagalong, Spanish and Japanese song even I’m not understand it. That is the power of music.


Alvin aka Defoo already told me that Hinonggo will be on air in Sabah V FM. Alvin’s blog had announced that the song already in Sabah V FM hand now and just waiting to roll the music in the air. DJ DJ Selina Light is the person who receives the song an to be play in Sabah V FM. I’m pretty sure hinonggo will be played during DJ Selina Light slot, every Saturday 11 pm until 2 am. I had got message from butod inform me that Elvis Saladan unreleased song ready for download on butod’s blog. I didn’t know what the title of this song is but i bet you will love this song; it has a happy melody and his voice also have a good tone. Eheheh.. there is a message from Elvis Saladan mention that his album will coming out soon. This is one of the new methods of promoting songs. Mine while butod’s blog mention that Elvis Saladan album will available in market next month, February.

Langad id kampung, (yearn of village) from Joe Henry album remind me about my village somewhere in Ranau. I remember how me and my young brother going to school, follow my dad going to tumoon (garden), my mum feed the chickens.

Argh.. if I was able travel back to that time.. I wanna be there ….but what can I do… just let it be my sweet memory. OPS…. Enough… I didn’t want to write about my sweet memory about my village… but I just wanna let the whole world, that a few of my friends was an actor in Joe Henry’s MTV karaoke.

I believe if you listen to his songs, you might be remember your village .. just like me. I write this post during listen his songs. Actually I want to post a few Joe Henry’s video clip here but I did not have his permission… so its better I recommend you to buy the original CD. :P

Remember last time I had made a post about Karen Kong first Chinese song played on air last week, 1st October in MYFM. Karen Kong had launched her first album in Malay and now she work hard for her first Chinese album. Her voice is cutie and nice, many outside there who had listen her Malay songs said her voice like Malaysia No 1 Artist, Dato Siti Norhalizah. I want to mention here, she is the first Malaysian artist who gets popular with social network service, Friendster.com. Her video hosted with YouTube is one of the most viewed. Just open YouTube website and search “cinta hello Kity” , other video clip from her will listed. Spent your time to listen her voice and give your comment, do you like her voice or not?.
Talking about her first Chinese song, Li Dao (Island away) this song is very nice and I had listened it more than 10 times. How many times you listen this songs?. In my previous post, I just inform that Karen will on air in MYFM. Karen was surprise when her song was voted NO1 songs on MYFM night chart. Here is the lyric and translation by Keith. To be hones I also didn’t know to speak Chinese but I love to listen Chinese songs. I had listen Chinese songs since I was child until now. I didn’t know why I like to listen Chinese song, is this because I had a Chinese blood? Not really sure, all I know my Chinese family name is KONG but I didn’t have Chinese name.
