BSN-KK Mini Karnival LIVE on Sabahan.FM

Bank Simpanan National (BSN-KK) will organize :Mini Karnival” during “Cabutan Sijil Simpanan Premium” and the ceremony will held at Ipoh on 30 and 31 October 2009. You can watch LIVE at BSN website and there are big screen at BSN KK building.

One again Sabahan.Fm will broadcast (BSN-KK Mini Karnival ) and given a chance to be an emcee. There are a lot of exciting activities during BSN-KK Mini Karnival. Durian Festival 24 – 25 October : Sabahan.fm

Sabahan.FM crew had spend their time visiting Durian Festival at Ranau on 24 and 25 October during 23rd Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon. Durian fruit is known as the 'King of Fruits' and grows abundantly in Ranau, particularly during this time of the year. The Durian Festival will give visitors a chance to taste and purchase various types of durian as well as other exotic local fruits.

Most interesting during this Durian Festival is “eat all you can- you just need to pay RM 5 ”. During this two day of Durian Festival there are few activity involve public to take part such as drawing and coloring competition, eating Durian competition, Bintang Durian and Cultures Show.

It was a great try and good achievement for Sabahan.FM to be a part of 23rd Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon organizer. Sabahan.FM was broadcast 23rd Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon on their online radio station. Beside radio broadcasting, sabahan.fm also make video broadcasting using ustream from laban rata. There are few difficulty faced by sabahan.fm crew during video broadcasting, the coverage of celcom broadband not stable.

Congratulations to all sabahan.fm crew who had work hard for this 23rd Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon such as DJ Kinabalu, DJ Jeson, Mygeng, Angkol @ Caid @ warden, DJblack, Dj Ayu, Dj iter Leonna, Maggi and WhiteDaisy. Few sabahan.fm crews was going up to Laban Rata for make this 23rd Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon more interesting, they are Jagung, DJ Lord Rork, DJ Langau and DJ Selipar Jipun.

Spaniard Kilian Jornet Burgada emerged the winner in the 23rd Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon today, a win that also earned him the men's open trophy for the 2009 Skyrunner World Series. Toru, who also finished second in the Climbathon, said he was satisfied with his performance as he clocked faster this year. In third place is Malaysia's Mius Balanting, who crossed the finish line in 2 hours 53 minutes and 20 seconds. He finished sixth in last year's Climbathon.

Burgada bagged USD4,500 (USD1=RM3.38), while Toru and Mius earned USD4,000 and USD3500 respectively.

Beyonce “I am…” World Tour Live in Malaysia 2009 Has Been Re-scheduled

Kuala Lumpur, 20 October 2009 – The Organisers regret to inform you that Beyonce “I am…” concert originally scheduled on Sunday, 25 October 2009 at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur has been postponed to a future date, to be announced shortly.

The official postponement press statement by Beyonce’s Artiste Management, Music World will be released by this week. The postponement is solely decision of the Artiste and has nothing to do with other external reasons.

The Organisers sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Fans whom have purchased tickets but can’t wait for the announcement of the new date, may proceed to refund starting from 26 October 2009 to 14 November 2009 at Ticket Axcess head office in PJ. If the organizer already start refund , the chances for this concert to be canceled is very high... tudu bangat.. :P

This is maybe the first appearance in teater and work with Malaysian actors since One In a Million (OIAM). Esther is the first runner up of the OIAM session 3. On the 22 October 2009 at 7 pm, there will be a preview of "Cuci The Musical". It will be held at Istana Budaya, Jalan Tun Razak. For Esther Fan Club members entrance are free.
